Make your nominations for the Community Business Celebration Awards here! You can nominate the organization or person of your choosing. Winners will be announced at the IVBCF Annual Awards Celebration event on December 4th, 2014.

Community Business Celebration Awards 2014











Business of the Year:

The IVBCF Business of the Year nominees may be any business located in and doing business in Southwest Riverside County and areas immediately adjacent. The business of the year will be selected from the submitted nominations by the IVBCF Board and will be the business that most reflects the mission and core values of the IVBCF (criteria outlined below).

 To nominate a business for the IVBCF Business of the Year, please provide the following information:

  • Business Name 
  • Business Contact Information
  • Name and contact information of nominating person (businesses cannot nominate themselves)

 All nominations must be received no later than September 30, 2014 at 5pm. 

 Selection Criteria:

  • Supports positive growth of community organizations
  • Supports Positive growth of other Businesses
  • Supports positive growth of the community at large
  • Passion for service , fun & mutual growth through their business
  • Support the values and ethics of IVBCF and practice mutual respect for others
  • Friendly and a Team Player
  • Share expertise  & knowledge with others
  • Service to IVBCF members
  • Service to the community
  • Fosters long-term relationships with customers, vendors and the community
  • Competent, skilled and dedicated at their trade
  • Attitude of service & leadership

Community Organization of the Year

The IVBCF Community Organization of the Year nominees may be any Community Service focused organization located in and doing serving Southwest Riverside County and areas immediately adjacent.

Qualified organizations include, but are not necessarily limited to:

  • Service organizations (Rotary, Kiwanis, Lions, etc.)
  • Faith based organizations (churches, youth programs, medical support, family support, economic assistance, etc.)
  • Business and Leadership Organizations (Toastmasters, Chamber of Commerce, industry trade associations, networking and referral groups, etc.)
  • Youth organizations (Girl and Boy Scouts, Boys and Girls Clubs, YMCA, etc.)
  • Educational organizations (library support, tutoring, job training, job placement assistance, etc.)
  • Crisis and Emergency Assistance organizations (Red Cross, TIP, Community Watch, etc.)
  • Arts and Athletics organizations (not-for-profit performing arts groups and clubs, athletic teams and clubs)
  • Any not-for-profit organization whose focus is community service and support

  • Name and contact information of nominating person (organizations or their directors cannot nominate themselves, but volunteers may nominate the organization)

 All nominations must be received no later than September 30, 2014 at 5pm.

Community Leader of the Year

The IVBCF Community Leader of the Year nominees may be any individual who is a business or community leader serving in Southwest Riverside County and areas immediately adjacent. The community leader of the year will be selected from the submitted nominations by the IVBCF Board and will be the leader that most reflects the mission and core values of the IVBCF (criteria outlined below).

 Qualified individuals include, but are not necessarily limited to:

  • Service organization leaders or volunteers
  • Faith based organization leaders or volunteers
  • Youth organization leaders or volunteers
  • Educational organization volunteers
  • Business leaders
  • Arts and Athletic groups / teams leaders or volunteers
  • Local political leaders
  • Community organizers
  • Any individual who has given of their time, talents and funds to benefit the community

 To nominate an individual for the IVBCF Community Leader of the Year, please provide the following information:

  • Individual’s Name
  • Individual’s Contact Information
  • Name and contact information of nominating person (individuals cannot nominate themselves)

All nominations must be received no later than September 30, 2014 at 5pm.

Educator of the Year 

The IVBCF Community Educator of the Year nominees may be any individual engaged in supporting the education of youth or adults in Southwest Riverside County and areas immediately adjacent.  Qualified individuals include, but are not necessarily limited to:

  • Public or private school instructors or administrators
  • Public or private school volunteers
  • Public or private school support staff (facilities, food service, library services, information technology services, transportation, etc.)
  • Study support (tutors, peer leaders, mentors, etc.)
  • School based athletic team leaders (coaches, trainers, volunteers)
  • School based arts groups leaders (bands, performing arts groups, fine arts groups, etc.)
  • Trade training leaders (ROP, apprenticeship programs, etc.)
  • College or University instructors, administrators or support staff
  • Any individual dedicated to serving the community through educating or supporting the education in any way.

 The Educator of the Year will be selected from the submitted nominations by the IVBCF Board and will be the Individual that most reflects the mission and core values of the IVBCF (criteria outlined below).

  • Name and contact information of nominating person (individuals cannot nominate themselves)
